search reveals flaws in having a double pass. basically, our water pumps and system are not setup for this type of radiator....requires to much flow which our water pumps do not like/ can not handle. make it easier on yourself, and do not try to reinvent the wheel, or buy a reinvented wheel (plus it will likely never be reproduced). stick with what is out there....mech fan and a properly shrouded upgraded radiator is more than adequate for cooling even under extreme condition, not to mention extremely more reliable. for example, you can check to see when the mech fan clutch is going bad per fsm aka checking for proper damping or excessive free spin. but, how can you tell when the efan is going to die. you really cant: are you going to check the bearing specs? are you going to be able to calculate when the motor is about to die? no. it is going to crap out on you one day and you will be up the creek without a paddle.
